My first day of college

So I had my first class today (Oral Comm.) and it was pretty cool. I think I'm going to like my teacher, and the other students seem really interested in learning. The only downside is I'm one of two freshly graduated seniors in the class.... .___.' The others in the class all seem to be in their mid to late 20's, some in their early forties from what I can tell... So, thats a little weird, but I don't have to worry about people being rude during my speeches b/c the way I figure it, if they're taking this class at their age, they must want to actually learn and participate, which really lightens my nerves. So, we'll see how it turns out. 15 weeks left XDDD

I had Oral Comm last year. I think you'll like it, if you're not afraid to give speeches in front of class. Don't feel bad that most of the people in your class are in their late 20s. I had two people in my class that were over 40! Note that I take evening classes, so that does make a difference. Anyways, much luck to you, Milady Erin! You'll do fine!

Awesome!! I'm so nervous about college and I'm only going through my last year of high school. xD

I would hope they would act right in class. College isn't cheap and they're the ones who are gonna have to pay for it when everything is said and done. x_x


Good luck in the class. ^_^ What are you getting your degree in? I'm gonna go for Animation. If not that Illustration or Photography. :)

First day was great wasn't it? Though I wish I would of had later classes (All the freshmen kids who i might not see anymore after October hang out in the morning which really sucks) But yeah glad you like the first day.
I had oral comm last year. I had more younger mature people though but it was really fun. I was always so nervous. I hate speaking out to a crowd. All the eyes that stares at you like there seeking to find away to suck my soul out of my body. lol
